"I enjoy watching new players develop their skills as their level of confidence grows over time. Nothing gives me greater joy than seeing a huge smile on a player's face when they make a great play, regardless of whether they are on my team or not."
On the field: My favourite positions are short stop or anywhere in the outfield.
Off the field: When I'm not playing in our league, I enjoy playing softball on my men's competitive team. We travel within Ontario and the U.S.. It's a great way for my wife and I to mix sports with travelling.

"I've been a Good Timer for 14 years. I keep coming back because there are not many leagues for older players. I like that it's not competitive and is a mix of men and women. Sometimes the comments are better than the play."
On the field: My favourite position is the bench, can’t do anything wrong there! LOL
Off the field: You'll find me on my bike, reading a good book or on the court hitting a pickle ball or tennis ball.

Off the field: I love to walk, ride my bike and be with my three girls or friends doing anything…just being together

"I enjoy the Good Timers league because that's why play - for a good time. It's more about socializing and meeting people than being competitive. It's also about still being able to play ball and sometimes with seniors who haven't played since public school!!"
On the field: I play rover, 2nd or catcher
Off the field: I enjoy live theatre as well as spending time in the garden or with my grandkids or playing with my rescue Terrier.
